before this year ends (it's about thirty minutes 'til 2019 starts at where I live!!), imma muse a bit about it.

so, 2018 eh?

actually...nothing's happened much. everything's been peaceful since (been a bit busy with the house though).
for 2019, i'm planning to get my shit together (an ID, passport renewal, etc.)

art-wise, i've started to become more self-indulgent, practice even more, and pick up several new tricks along the way.
...speaking of self-indulgent art, notice how all my self ship art with Technus is no more (as well as most DP-related content, minus the Walfas customs currently made, they'll stay)?

I've also drawn more self-indulgent

It's for several reasons.

• I've lost interest in Danny Phantom, meaning I've fallen out of love for him (NO, IT'S NOT BECAUSE I'VE FALLEN INTO CASTLEVANIA HELL, IT'S FOR A MUCH MORE SERIOUS REASON. READ BELOW)
• I've also lost all respect for Butch Hartman, the series creator. Back in July/August, there was a certain...scandal that ended with me (and most others) hating Hartman.
• I've gained interest in other series like the aforementioned one (and Bayonetta!!!). 

(so yeah, please, please, PLEASE, no more jealousy jokes.)

as for commissions...i'm sorry to those that did commission me. because i'm busy with house duties (and family matters), i've been unable to work on them.

Putting that aside, I'm still working on Project Star Allies, I'm just fixing up small errors on the props~. (i'm sorry it's taking so long :'D)

-(Oof, not one of these again) I'd say both.

2. Least favorite character trope?
Alpha Bitch. An exception to this is if they have a decent backstory.

3. Least favorite shipping trope?
Incest is Yay. Incest was never an attractive thing in the first place.

4. Disney or Dreamworks?
-(OOF AGAIN--) Like the first question, both are good.

5. If you could, what original story would you write about?
-I'd write one with a horror setting. Actually...I did have one during my high school years, but dropped it because I didn't make any progress after the prologue. Basically speaking, it was about a college student who moves into a city, and it seemed peaceful at first. MC notices however that when it's cloudy, the skies are red instead of gray. Secondly, several people start disappearing, weird shadows appear, and MC ends up searching for the truth.

6. Guilty Pleasure Hobbies?
-Eating ice cream straight from the carton.

7. Favorite Genre of Music?
-Preferably anything pop or J-rock. Pretty much anything catchy/energetic.

9. If you do read, what are your favorite books or genres to read?
-I prefer something that's from one of the following genres: action, fantasy, humor, and mystery. Current favorite books are "And then There Were None" and "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland".

10. What video game are you currently obsessed with?
-Do ones that I haven't played (but want to) count? If yes, then it's Splatoon. I love how it's Nintendo's version of FPS games like Overwatch and Fortnite.

In terms of games that I do play, however, then it's Touhou 14: Double Dealing Character. Been trying to 1CC that *on Normal* for two weeks now, and I'm always getting screwed by the Tsukumo sisters. ._.

11. Was there a canon ship (canon x canon) pairing you loved but got so disappointed with the show's or game's outcome?
-Nope, since I don't really get involved with canon/canon shipping. :U

12. Which OC would you have as an imaginary friend?
-The sleepy boi himself, Shiro.

you know in times where I don't feel like doing anything, i like to look for Touhou fangames on YT and Bulletforge.
based on what i've found, there seems to be 4 upcoming fangames (all have playable trials)


first is Hollow Song of Birds, which is about time stopping in Gensokyo.

-there is a gem system, and they all have different effects.
-player characters are Reimu, Marisa, and Sakuya
-made by the same people who made Book of Star Mythology


next is Sapphire Pangloism, which focuses on saltwater overflowing everywhere.

-game has a raindrop system, if you collect certain amounts (red - life, green - spell, blue - point), it auto-draws all point items.
-along with Reimu and Marisa, Shou Toramaru and Hecatia Lapislazuli are playable characters too.
*Hecatia is the only one that can switch between shot types; you press C*
-stage 3 is my favorite so far, it has a nice theme to go with it.

third, is Unification of the Artful Rain, where i think(?) is about abnormal weather.

-game has a "flow system"; when the bar's filled, the effects vary on your character (the bar is filled up by collecting "Droplets", the tiny blue orbs). Press C to use it up, and, based on your performance, you get a bonus! 
-aside from the usual two, Komachi Onozuka is joining in on the incident
-stage 2's boss is unique, they manipulate magnetism and the like.

lastly, there is Glory of Deep Skies, which deals with light-based phenomena (rainbows, auroras, etc.)

-game has the "Elemental Burst" system. enemies will drop red, green and blue orbs, and the bottom left bar fills up depending on your choice. once it's full, you can use the C key to release it, making all orbs become yellow/purple orbs.
-it's only Reimu and Marisa this time, and so far there's two stages.
-i have not finished playing the demo, but so far, it's pretty decent.

on top of all of that, ZUN has announced 16.5:

-based on the screencaps, it's set to be like Shoot the Bullet and Double Spoiler
-according to translations, ZUN says the plot will be unsettling.

Update - Another fangame is in production, let's give it up for Servants of Harvest Wish!

-The game's resource system relies on harvest items, the small, orange "petals" that appear when you graze a lot.
*There is a bar and a yellow number, and when the bar is full, you enter Harvest Mode (like the Supernatural Border from PCB). The yellow number is the number of harvest items you need to reach the stage boss's Last Word.
-During Harvest mode, if you collect enough orange petals, you can get spell/life pieces.
-Your playable character cast includes the titular two (Reimu and Marisa), Sanae, and a newcomer, Ryouko. (for those curious, Ryouko is from another fangame called "The Shattered Sky". TSS and SoHW are both created by the same person, Eredom. Each character has 2 shot types.

-Other than Kirby, Touhou, and Danganronpa, I'm also a fan of Legend of Zelda and Tekken (tbh this one's sort of lowkey.) I also find myself being a small fan of Overwatch.

2. Is your body ready for the hot new Funkey Mode meme hitting the internet?
-*Remembering the fact that this question was asked before it was released* No, my body wasn't ready. xD I haven't seen memes of it floating around lately.

3. Do you have a Discord account?
-I do, but I rarely use it ehhehhehe--

1. What's your favorite Pokemon?
-Furret. It stemmed from when I played Pokemon Colosseum; I found it really cute, but when I saw it was a Shadow Pokemon, I went all-out on purifying it*. This all happened when I was...around nine, so yeah, Furret's been a favorite for a long time now.

2. I know you brought up your ex a couple times, but do you think you'll ever love again In the future?
-I'm...I'm not sure how to answer this. All I can say is that I chose not to be in another relationship for my family's sake.

3. You like doing walfas, but have you ever been interested in trying your hand in spriting?
-Spriting was actually a hobby of mine when I was younger. I still do a few sprite edits, though. One of my most recent edits is my current icon, which is an edit of the pixel sprites from Danganronpa.
